A local soft play

I’m sorry to hear that the owners of a local soft play feel so let down by the current and previous governments that they have decided to ban Labour Party members. Having spent many hours there and organised several parties for my children, I know the soft play well and have always valued it as a local facility. While I understand the frustration some small business owners feel, excluding people simply for supporting a mainstream political party doesn’t feel right. Labour has a long history of standing up for working people. They founded the NHS, introduced the minimum wage and strengthened workers’ rights. One of the current priorities is bringing energy costs down, which would make a real difference everyone. As a small business owner myself, I also feel the impact of National Insurance rises. I hope that, rather than excluding people, constructive engagement, such as speaking with your MP or getting involved to push for change might be a more positive way forward for both the business and the wider community..
